This unique treasure makes for a amazing collectible, gift or decorative piece! Iron Mountain Michigan, population in the 1900’s was 9,242!!! Iron mountain was know for an iron mine named “Chapin Mine.” The Chapin mine iron deposit was discovered on 1879. Except for 1932 to 1933 the mine produced iron ore from 1880 till it closed in 1934! This historic treasure really tells a lot about its past and definitely glows a vibrant green under uv light!
There is a slight chip at the bottom of this treasure and is circled in the pictures above!
